This rough cut was assembled for the director to get a feel for what structure and pacing might work. In it, a young man named Abrams is playing online poker at work when his boss confronts him. Rather than make up an excuse, he boldly goes "all in" and confesses his slacking. His boss, taken aback, can't believe it, and folds, deciding to move on rather than continue the confrontation. Meanwhile, two TV-style poker experts offer color commentary in the background.
