I spent the first nine years of my life in various Texas towns -- mostly north Texas, but briefly Corpus Christi -- before moving to Lafayette, LA. And that's where I lived until I left for college. I still say I'm from Lafayette when anyone asks. It's a pretty great place.

I really got seriously interested in film during high school. But it started much earlier than that with Looney Tunes, Donald Duck, and the various classic films my parents exposed me to while I was growing up, so blame them. What finally made me realize I wanted to do more than just watch movies was the first time I saw 2001: A Space Odyssey. I'd be lying if I said I wasn't a little confused that first time I saw it, but I liked it anyway and I've been hooked since.

At some point I decided that, if I was going to get into film or television, I needed to end up either in New York or California. I'd been to NYC on a school trip and really enjoyed it, so I was glad to attend NYU. After graduation, I wanted to stick around, and was lucky enough to get good work, so I'm still here.

I've been working in production four years, while also working on various post-production and design projects as they've come along which I'd like to continue doing more of.
